Summer China Academy

The Journey of a Lifetime

Get ready for an eye-opening, life changing educational adventure.

Our Summer China Academy is offered to a select group of mature young adults who want to improve their Chinese skills and who enjoy outdoor adventure.

Due to a new addition to our family we will not offer the Academy this summer. Operations will continue as normal Fall 2010.

Features:

Led by an experienced program director, who has dedicated his professional life to education and the study of China.
A ten-day tour to great scenic and historic sights, including Zhangjiajie National Park, Fenghuang, and Beijing.
Outdoor adventure including hiking and whitewater rafting.
4-weeks of full time Chinese language study equivalent to a 5 credit semester course.
Extra curricular activities to learn about Chinese culture and make friends with Chinese students.
A Chinese student to be your study exchange partner. He/she will help you learn about China and be available for daily language practice.
Intelligent and challenging discussions with your fellow participants and program director during weekend excursions and the final tour.
On-call support and emergency assistance for participants and regular updates for parents.
A Pre-program participants' guide to help plan for your time in China.
A welcome pack including a local cell phone, pre-paid minutes, and a pre-paid long-distance phone card.
